A note about this project: After talking to his father, who participated in the freedom struggle, Yandisa Mtsotso wrote this poem about how people won the right to democracy by uniting. But that victory was simply the beginning of a long and rough road to freedom. Yandisa is also playing and singing a traditional isiXhosa song about how men stand together to defend their village.
